Simple & Satisfying Beef Stew

Ingredients
2 cups potatoes, cubed
1 large white onion, chopped
2 carrots, sliced into 1/2-inch pieces
2 cans green beans
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon savory
2 tablespoons minced garlic
1 ½ pounds of grass-fed beef, cubed
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
½ teaspoon pepper
½ teaspoon salt
1/3 cup milk
½ cup flour
Directions
Fill a large stock pot with water and bring to a boil. Add the potato and carrots, then cook covered for ten minutes over medium-high. Add the savory, onion and green beans, then lower heat and simmer.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet, then add the Italian seasoning and garlic. Saute the mixture for one minute, then add the beef. Cook until just done, then remove the meat and add it to the stew. Whisk in the flour until the mixture forms a paste, then slowly add the milk, salt and pepper. Keep whisking until the mixture is smooth, then add it to the stew. Stir well, then cover and simmer for ten minutes or until the carrots and potatoes are tender.
