T-Bone Steak is one of the most tender and highly sought after cuts from a beef. It is a leaner choice but still has decent marbling and comes in that iconic T shape.
Whats the difference between the T-Bone and Porterhouse:
The porterhouse comes from the first 3-5 steaks on the loin and has a huge tenderloin portion, because there are a limited number of these on each loin you typically see them priced higher and/or sold out quicker.
AAA Alberta beef has an excellent flavour, and tenderness. Our AAA Alberta beef is wet aged between 20-40 days which enhances the quality and eliminates the need for mechanical tenderizing. It is a great choice when looking for a less expensive option that is sure to impress (When compared to grass fed, certified organic, dry aged, or wagyu beef varieties).
