Hind Quarter of Beef Deposit

A Hind Quarter is great for stocking up your freezer with quality Alberta beef at an affordable price. Our beef has exceptional marbling and is dry aged for superior flavour and tenderness. These are available all year long.

A hind quarter of beef will provide the average family of 4 with enough meat for about 4-6 months. Wrapped in classic butcher paper. It takes approximately 2-4 weeks to complete an order.

For a Grass Fed and Grain Finished Carcass the cost is $7.99/lb. based on hanging weight. Each front quarter can vary in size but you can expect an average weight to fall between 230-260 lb. Typically you can expect an edible yield of 55-65%. Total cost is estimated to fall between $1820 - $2080. Grain finsihed Cracasses are AAA Alberta Beef and would be the gold standard for quality beef in our region. 

For a Grass Fed and Grass Finished Hind Quarter the cost is $9.99/lb. based on hanging weight. Each hind quarter can vary in size but you can expect an average weight to fall between 170-230 lb. Typically you can expect an edible yield of 55-65%. Total cost is estimated to fall between $1700 - $2300. Choose a grass fed and finished beef if you're looking for a healthy option. Be aware grass fed and finished beef has an earthy flavour that will be different from conventional Alberta Beef. We recommend trying a smaller amount before purchasing an entire beef quarter to be sure you enjoy the flavour.
